Roles & Responsibilities:
- Carryout accurate and efficient Material Quantity Take-Off for all items in accordance with the Contract and its specified Method of Measurement, utilizing the companies specified software.
- Provide professional and presentable MQTO reports.
- Carryout and assess subcontractor's variations
- Carryout and assess material take-off for Subcontractors / Suppliers as applicable.
- Assess contract documents and identify any modifications to the contract documents.
- Perform the quantification and preparation of variations.
- Prepare of variations logs, reports and records.
- Support in identifying any wastage of the materials.
- Assess and Approve IPC's for the suppliers and subcontractors.
- Support with Subcontractors / Suppliers issues.
- Carry out any/all tasks assigned that are related to work nature or job duties.
- Provide and maintain monthly reports and logs as necessary.
- Delegate work to Junior QS and make sure of accurate and efficient deliverables are produced.
- Perform other assignments as necessary to support the function/department
- Ensure working according to the company HSE policies and regulations, risk assessment and environmental aspects.
MINIMUN QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS:
BSC in Engineering or Diploma in Quantity Surveying
Minimum of 5-7 years of postgraduate experience in a related field
Very Good command of English language
Microsoft office
Auto Cad
