Job Description
- Prepare and review cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis and provide advice on cost control and value engineering.
- Manage contract administration, variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Monitor project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost reporting.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and design teams to ensure accurate cost management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior QS team members.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 810 years of relevant QS experience, preferably in large-scale construction projects in Qatar.
- Proven experience in pre- and post-contract cost management.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, construction methods, and materials.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in relevant QS software and MS Office.
