Job Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Researcher to join a 24/7 Media Monitoring and Inquiries team. The role involves continuous media monitoring, in-depth media analysis, reporting, and handling media inquiries in a fast-paced environment.
The Senior Researcher will work to track media coverage, analyze trends, assess sentiment, and produce actionable insights. The role also supports crisis communications efforts and prepares customized analytical reports for stakeholders.
This position requires strong analytical capabilities, advanced reporting skills, proficiency in media monitoring tools, and excellent bilingual communication skills (Arabic & English).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct 24/7 media monitoring using professional media listening and social media tools.
- Monitor media mentions across traditional and digital platforms.
- Perform media tracking, media scanning, and issue tracking.
- Conduct sentiment analysis, trend analysis, and message analysis.
- Analyze media landscape and brand perception.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly media reports.
- Develop customized and ad-hoc analytical reports during crises or special situations.
- Create visual dashboards and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI.
- Manage real-time alerts and media insights reporting.
- Handle and log incoming media inquiries in coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Perform fact-checking, proofreading, editing, and content review when required.
- Support crisis communication activities in line with established guidelines.
- Archive and categorize media content systematically.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Computer & Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in media monitoring, media research, media analysis, or related fields.
