Job Description:
- Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering.
- Related Work Experience (Type and years): Minimum 15 years of experience in a reservoir engineering function in an E&P industry spanning across both reservoir engineering and field development aspects.
- Help on the formulation and design of development plans for oil and gas extraction. Specify design criteria and relevant operating parameters for development of new oil and gas projects.
- Prepare reservoir performance forecasts and identify potential development drilling targets for additional reserves and recovery.
- Prepare reservoir monitoring plan to optimize production and recovery from old reservoirs. Provide advice in the process of using surveys, testing, and analysis to evaluate new reservoirs and create the most efficient drilling and extraction plans.
- Provide advice and assistance on analysing, interpreting, and monitoring of geological formation data to ascertain extraction risks along with the best methods of extraction.
- Prepare and validate input data, participate in model preparation, and conduct reservoir simulation studies.
- Use knowledge of dynamic modelling tools, logs, core interpretation, well test interpretation, and other well data to assist in review and validation of reservoir models shared by operators.
Use material balance analysis to manage reservoir performance and ultimate recovery.
