About the Role
Firstunion is seeking a dynamic and experienced SeniorRetail Manager to join our team in Egypt. This role is critical to supporting the successful launch and distribution of a key heated tobacco product in the Egyptian market. You will work closely with our local agent to ensure effective product placement, retail execution, and market expansion across Cairo and Giza.
This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a strategic market entry project, with potential for growth as our operations expand in Egypt.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the local agent in executing channel placement for HNB (Heated Tobacco) products, focusing on key accounts such as convenience stores and chain outlets.
- Conduct regular store visits, monitor product display, pricing, inventory levels, and promotional material placement at priority retail points.
- Serve as a communication bridge between the agent and retail partners, gathering feedback, consumer insights, and competitive intelligence.
- Support the implementation of marketing activities, including training retail staff and distributing promotional materials.
- Build and maintain a database of secondary distributors and key retail accounts to strengthen the company's channel foundation in Egypt.
- Perform other channel management tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, International Trade, or related field.
- Arabic and English communication skills (verbal and written).
- 1+ years of experience in retail channel supervision within FMCG, tobacco, e-cigarette, beverages, or consumer goods.
- Familiarity with local convenience stores, KA operations, and distribution structures in Egypt.
- Strong communication, execution, and problem-solving skills. Must be hardworking and open to short business trips.
