Responsibilities
The candidate should be an engineering graduate, preferably with Chemical Engineering background, having 13+ years of experience in the field of loss prevention engineering in an Oil & Gas sector design consultancy. The candidate should possess good communication skills and should be a team player. Job responsibilities will include:
- Development of HSE design basis / philosophy
- Estimation of fire water/ foam system demand calculations/ fire water P&IDs
- Preparation of technical specifications for fire fighting and safety equipment
- Development of Hazardous Area Classification layouts
- Development of Fire and Gas detector layouts
- Development of Fire Fighting, Safety, Escape route and Safety sign layouts
- Experience in using consequence modelling software such as PHAST, FRED etc.
- Experience in Safety review such as HAZID, HAZOP etc.
- Experience in Technical evaluation of vendor bids
Candidates having experience of working in offshore projects and safety studies experience are preferred.
