Job Description

Job Purpose:

  • Drive sales for AFCV Commercial Vehicles for the retail customer to achieve set monthly/annual sales targets and customer satisfaction objectives. Manage and follow full lifecycle of sales from actual sales to hand over to the customer.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Sales: Effectively follow sales procedure and process to close a sale. Qualify buyers to understand buyer's requirements and interests, present/match requirements and interests to various models, explain features and close the sale by overcoming objections. Conduct post-sale follow up to attract new and retain existing customers. Actively promote finance and insurance products.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction as per company Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) guidelines. Ensure performance improvement and increased customer satisfaction as per Mercedes Benz standards.
  • Autoline Database: Maintain active customer profile database to ensure all relevant details are up to date when required. Accurately collect customer and vehicle information to upload it in the Dealer Management System (Autoline).
  • Competition: Effectively carry out market intelligence to monitor competitors products, pricing and promotional activities versus own market share. Continuously update company product knowledge and competitive product knowledge related to all car brands and types.
  • Reports: Prepare and submit reports such as weekly plans, activity and results reports those related to issues resolution for Sales Manager and review of the management.

Job Specific Information:

  • Senior Sales Consultant will be operating in a dynamic environment and closely working with walk-in customer at the showroom to sell Mercedes Benz Commercial Vehicles.

External: Clients, Banks & Insurance Companies

Qualification:

  • Diploma in Business or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent is preferred. Experience
  • 5 years of minimum experience in sales and customer relationship; out of which 2 years should be in PC sales.
  • Experience in luxury cars dealer preferred.
