Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team in the office furniture sector of the construction industry. This role is pivotal in driving sales and enhancing customer relations by leveraging technical knowledge and competitive insights to meet client needs effectively. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Engage with architects, interior designers, and facility managers to understand client needs and provide tailored office furniture solutions.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations at client locations, showcasing the value of our offerings and how they solve client challenges.
  • Prepare detailed technical proposals and quotations in response to client inquiries and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure product specifications are accurately conveyed and produced to meet client expectations.
  • Monitor project timelines and delivery schedules, ensuring timely completion and quality of installations in coordination with the project management team.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services to existing clients during the sales process.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor products, and market dynamics to support strategic sales initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales engineering, preferably within the office furniture or construction industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong technical acumen with an understanding of office design principles and furniture functionalities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in modern sales tools and CRM software to manage leads and client interactions effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
