Responsibilities
- Strategically position profitable solutions with new customers with a focus on our NVOCC and Shipping Lines.
- The ability to generate new sales revenue independently.
- Assist in create a sales plan that successfully meets monthly sales goals and initiatives.
- Account Management to retain and grow current client base.
- Develop a database of prospective clients.
- Identifying and properly qualifying business opportunities.
- Direct contact of prospective clients through personal visits and phone calls.
- Provide customer quotations with a follow up.
- Prepare daily sales report and Quarterly business plan.
- Responsible for securing new customers, and maintaining and developing existing accounts.
- Meet and exceed target set in terms of contributing and generating revenue for the department.
- Maintain records of customer details / sales visits.
- Identify potential customers and register opportunities.
- Regularly visit existing accounts validating our service levels and develop new revenue streams.
- Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensuring integrity & accuracy in all pricing matters.
- Extensive Market & Industry research to Identify new opportunities.
Knowledge & Skills
- 2+ year of experience in Sales within a Shipping Line or NVOCC company.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Excellent negotiation and selling skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and Presentation skills.
- Leadership, supervision and direction abilities.
