An Senior Sales Manager supports the Sales Team through analysis and reporting of results and trends, recommends sales approaches to expand and add business, and develops the skills and culture of the Sales Team Members.
What will I be doing
As Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading strategic sales initiatives, managing key accounts, and driving revenue performance across all segments. You will work closely with the Sales Team, Commercial leadership, and hotel departments to analyze market opportunities, develop highimpact strategies, and ensure the achievement of business objectives. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Lead the development and execution of the hotel's sales strategy across assigned market segments.
- Analyse local, regional, and global market trends to identify new business opportunities and revenue streams.
- Manage and grow key corporate, MICE, leisure, and longstay accounts to maximize production.
- Negotiate highvalue contracts, room rates, and packages with corporate clients and partners.
- Maximise all revenue opportunities by implementing proactive sales actions and conversiondriven initiatives.
- Contribute to the hotel's commercial strategy and ensure departmental alignment with business goals.
- Monitor competitor activity and create strategic actions to maintain a strong position in the market.
- Mentor, guide, and support Sales Team Members to drive performance, skill development, and consistent service excellence.
- Develop and execute creative marketing and sales campaigns, including digital and social media activations.
- Build strong internal communication with all departments to support seamless execution of group, event, and corporate business.
- Attend trade shows, networking events, sales calls, and client functions as required.
- Prepare and present weekly/monthly sales reports, including appointments, calls, revenue achievements, and pipeline updates.
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly, professionally, and in a manner that enhances client relationships and loyalty.
