Your Role And Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICA Consultant with solid expertise in Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA) and strong exposure to S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting, designing, and optimizing SAP FICA processes, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules and alignment with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for SAP FICA processes within an S/4HANA landscape, including issue analysis, incident resolution, and problem management.
- Analyze business processes and requirements related to contract accounting, translating them into functional designs and configurations.
- Configure and support SAP FICA functionalities such as:
Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable
Payments and Billing
Convergent Invoicing
Document Posting
External Cash Desk
Dunning and Collections
Open Item Management and Clearing Control
Correspondence and Withholding Tax
Master Data Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FI, SD, CI, HCM, SRM, etc.) to resolve integration issues and ensure consistent end-to-end processes.
- Conduct system testing, develop test scenarios, and support UAT and Go-Live activities.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring or business-critical issues, ensuring timely and permanent resolutions.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to FICA contract accounting.
- Monitor interfaces, batch jobs, and data flows impacting the FICA module.
- Prepare and deliver training sessions and documentation to end users.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by proposing innovative and efficient SAP FICA solutions aligned with best practices.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX, and audit requirements.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Minimum Experience: 6 to 7 years of overall SAP experience with at least 6 to 7 years of hands-on SAP FICA configuration and support.
- Must have experience in at least one S/4HANA Support or Greenfield Implementation and migration projects.
- Strong understanding of FICA integration with FICO, SD, and CI modules.
- Familiarity with FQ Events and enhancement techniques to achieve non-standard business requirements.
- Solid knowledge of financial accounting principles, general ledger processes, and banking integrations (BCM, APM, H2H).
- Experience in business process analysis, functional specification documentation, and testing methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a global delivery model.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- SAP Certification in Financials or FICA is highly desirable.
- Strong consulting acumen, including planning, documentation, client communication, and presentation skills.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Working knowledge of Analytics in the context of FICA/FICO.
- Experience in knowledge sharing, mentoring, or team enablement initiatives.
