Responsibilities

  • Core Responsibilities

-Conduct full SEO audits (Technical, On-Page, Off-Page) to identify growth opportunities, issues, and priorities.

-Perform advanced keyword research based on search intent, market demand, and competition.

-Optimize on-page elements, including titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, content structure, and keyword distribution.

-Implement technical SEO improvements to enhance indexing, crawling, Core Web Vitals, speed, and schema markup.

-Develop, manage, and execute content strategies across categories, products, and blog content.

-Build and manage backlink acquisition strategies focused on authority and relevance.

-Monitor performance and provide insights using analytics tools such as GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Looker Studio.

  • Strategic Responsibilities

-Develop quarterly and yearly SEO growth strategies aligned with business goals.

-Prioritize tasks and resources based on impact vs effort.

-Identify gaps in content, competitor positioning, and market dynamics.

-Work cross-functionally with content, paid media, product, development, and data teams.

-Influence business decisions using data insights and organic performance trends.

-Guide the creation of SEO-friendly content and templates at scale.

  • Technical Responsibilities

-Improve website crawlability and indexation.

-Collaborate with developers on site architecture, performance issues, and structured data implementation.

-Optimize for mobile-first performance and Core Web Vitals metrics.

-Conduct log file analysis when needed to understand crawling behavior.

  • Content Responsibilities

-Map keywords to content clusters and landing pages.

-Define content briefs for writers and content teams.

-Evaluate content quality, relevance, and compliance with SEO best practices.

-Support long-form, evergreen, and conversion-oriented content.

Measurement & Reporting

-Track rankings, organic traffic, conversions, and CAC reduction from organic channels.

-Build reports and dashboards for stakeholders and leadership teams.

-Identify insights from competitor analysis, SERP trends, and user behavior.

-Translate data into actionable recommendations rather than theoretical insights.

  • Tools & Platforms, expected proficiency in:

-Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), Ahrefs / SEMrush / Moz

-Screaming Frog, surfer / Frase (optional for content)

-Looker Studio (Reporting), pageSpeed Insights

-Keyword Planner, soft skills required

-Analytical thinking, problem solving

-Research & synthesis, cross-team communication

-Project management, attention to detail

-Data interpretation, clear documentation & reporting
