- Design, develop, and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform
- Configure and customize ServiceNow modules such as:
- ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request)
- CMDB
- Service Catalog
- Knowledge Management
- Develop and maintain:
- Business Rules
- Client Scripts
- UI Policies
- Script Includes
- Workflows & Flow Designer
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs
- Create and customize forms, fields, tables, views, and UI actions
- Develop reports and dashboards to meet business needs
- Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
- Participate in requirement gathering and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Support platform upgrades and ensure backward compatibility
- Maintain technical documentation and follow development best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer (3+ years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of:
- JavaScript
- Glide API
- ServiceNow scripting & architecture
- Experience with ITSM processes (ITIL framework is a plus)
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS ITSM)
- Experience with HRSD, CSM, or SecOps modules
- Knowledge of CMDB best practices and data modeling
- Experience working in enterprise or large-scale environments
