Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage architectural design activities including planning, conceptual design, schematic design, and construction documentation.
- Ensure the architectural vision aligns with client expectations, branding guidelines, and commercial objectives.
- Supervise the integration of architectural elements.
- Coordinate with internal disciplines (MEP, Structural, Interior Design) and external consultants to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Review and validate shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, and samples for compliance with specifications and aesthetic standards.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, accessibility standards, fire and life safety regulations, and international design guidelines.
- Monitor construction progress through site inspections, addressing design-related issues and proposing solutions when needed.
- Utilize design tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM platforms for accurate and efficient documentation.
- Prepare design presentations and reports for client and stakeholder meetings.
- Guide junior team members and contribute to quality assurance processes and technical reviews.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Minimum 14 years of professional experience.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and BIM coordination tools.
- Excellent knowledge of international codes (e.g., IBC, NFPA, ADA) and regional regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- UAE or GCC experience is required.
- PMP, LEED, or equivalent green building certification is an advantage.
- Registered Architect license is a plus.
