Job Purpose:
The Senior Site Engineer oversees day-to-day site operations, ensuring construction work is executed in line with project specifications, timelines, safety standards, and quality requirements. The role acts as the technical reference on-site, coordinating between consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver assigned project packages efficiently and within scope.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Review and interpret project drawings and specifications, ensuring all work aligns with approved plans.
- Monitor progress against schedules, identifying potential delays and proposing corrective actions.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
- Conduct regular inspections to verify workmanship and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Liaise with the Technical Office, Quality Control, and Procurement teams to resolve site-related issues.
- Attend coordination meetings with consultants and clients to provide progress updates and address technical queries.
- Ensure proper communication of instructions and changes to subcontractors and labor teams.
- Enforce implementation of HSE policies and procedures on-site.
- Verify that materials and work performed comply with project specifications and approved submittals.
- Report and document any non-conformities, ensuring timely corrective measures.
- Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and inspection logs.
- Assist in verifying subcontractor invoices and progress claims based on actual work done.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and foremen.
- Identify and propose solutions for design or construction challenges encountered on-site.
- Ensure proper implementation of approved shop drawings and method statements.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 6–8 years of experience in construction and site supervision, preferably within the real estate
- PMP or equivalent (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project sequencing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with quality control and safety management systems.
