Senior Social Media Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Media Specialist with a strong understanding of the GCC market, specifically Saudi Arabia and the UAE, to lead and manage our social media presence across all platforms.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Cairo, Egypt, for the position of Senior Social Media Specialist. The role involves creating and managing engaging content across various social media platforms, developing and executing social media strategies, and overseeing digital marketing campaigns. Responsibilities include analyzing performance metrics, fostering audience engagement, and collaborating with the marketing team to align strategies with business goals. This position requires creativity, analytical thinking, and up-to-date knowledge of social media trends.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation
• Strong skills in Digital Marketing and overall Marketing strategies
• Excellent Communication abilities, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data;
• Proven experience in developing and implementing social media strategies for growth
• Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environments and meet tight deadlines
• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience in the financial or fintech industry is a plus
  

• Lead, manage, and optimize all social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Meta, Instagram, X, TikTok, and others as required
• Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with brand, marketing, and business objectives
• Oversee and mentor the social media team, ensuring high-quality content and consistent brand voice
• Manage community engagement, including monitoring, moderation, and timely responses
• Track performance metrics, analyze insights, and evaluate campaign effectiveness
• Prepare regular performance reports with actionable recommendations
• Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices within the GCC market

• Senior-level experience in social media management, preferably within fintech or a fast-paced industry
• Proven hands-on experience managing social media for KSA and UAE markets
• Strong leadership, people management, and collaboration skills
• Solid experience in community management and online moderation from 3-5 years preferable in Fintech industries.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and data-driven decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage multiple priorities
