Senior Software Testing Engineer

Role Purpose and Scope

We are looking for a distinguishedSenior Software Testing Engineer with 5 to 8 years of high level of experience with deep understanding of software Testing process, Test Plan and Test Design, and who has expertise in Testing applications over Cloud Technologies, proficient in Testing pages with UI components and Integration with 3rd party Systems using REST/SOAP with full ability for technical support and knowhow transfer for software testing engineers.

Technical Skills Required

• Data based like Oracle, MySQL and can write simple SQL
• Experience in Testing Web application with JavaScript/jQuery/ HTML/CSS.
• Experience in Testing responsive components (Bar chart, Dashboard).
• Experience in testing good User Interfaces (UI).
• Experience in automation testing using:
• UI: Python, Selenium & PyTest.
• API: Postman, Python & Requests.
• Experience in Testing with reporting tools or 3rd party applications with integration Protocols REST/SOAP.
• Basic knowledge for Linux/UNIX Operating System with basic Scripting Knowledge. (Telnet, SSH, SNMP, Etc)
• Must be motivated, independent and self-sufficient.
• Able to receive an assigned task and see it through to completion with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems; or related discipline is desired.
• Working experience of 5 to 8 years in Frontend and integration Testing.
• ISTQB foundation level certificate is a must.
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience in database design and integration.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in automation testing using Python, Selenium & PyTest.
• Experience in API automation testing using Postman and Python.
• DB knowledge is Must
