We are currently seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager to join our Corporate Services team. The role will support the Director of Project Procurement in delivering strategic sourcing initiatives, managing tender processes, driving supplier prequalification, and coordinating procurement activities across key stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Sourcing
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business growth, capital programs, and operational needs.
- Conduct category planning, demand analysis, and supply market assessments.
- Identify opportunities to optimize costs and enhance long-term value through strategic supplier partnerships.
Supplier Strategy & Market Engagement
- Lead supplier intelligence and market engagement initiatives to identify capable partners.
- Establish and manage supplier frameworks for critical and long-lead categories.
- Oversee supplier qualification, evaluation, and onboarding processes.
Commercial Leadership
- Define tender strategies and procurement approaches for major sourcing initiatives.
- Lead negotiations for high-value contracts and strategic sourcing packages.
- Work closely with Legal and Finance to ensure appropriate commercial terms and risk allocation.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with project teams, engineering, finance, and planning teams to ensure alignment between sourcing strategies and project delivery timelines.
- Provide procurement expertise and guidance on sourcing best practices and commercial considerations.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance standards, and delegated authority frameworks.
- Support the continuous improvement of procurement processes, systems, and supplier management practices.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:
- 12+ years of relevant procurement experience, including 5+ years in a senior or strategic sourcing role
- Knowledge of procurement governance frameworks and tender processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools and ERP procurement systems
- Strategic sourcing and category management expertise
- Strong commercial and contract negotiation capabilities
