The Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) is the supervisory and regulatory authority of the banking and insurance sector in the United Arab Emirates. CBUAE is responsible for enhancing monetary management, financial stability and protecting consumers through effective supervision of licensed financial institutions, prudent management of reserves, robust financial infrastructure and the adoption of digital technologies.
CBUAE is currently looking to hire a highly motivated, quick to adapt, and committed professional in our Information Technology Department.
- Provide expert- Level 2 (L2) and Level 3 (L3) support for SupTech modules, addressing issues such as troubleshooting, incident investigation, and conducting functional root cause analysis (RCA).
- Handle functional queries, perform data investigations, and provide quick resolutions under L2 support.
- Manage complex issues such as system bugs, data inaccuracies, and access challenges under L3 support, including bug fixes and detailed problem resolution.
- Fulfill end-user service requests efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of data and information in line with the service catalogue.
- Lead and actively engage in incident triage calls, prioritizing, and resolving aged tickets efficiently.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional designs, test cases, and incident resolution records, adhering to organizational standards.
- Conduct in-depth business process assessments to define optimal system solutions that enhance efficiency.
- Gather, interpret, validate, and document business and customer requirements effectively.
- Identify and recommend system and process enhancements to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Serve as a key liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment of requirements.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure their satisfaction and alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SupTech modules, including user manuals, process flows, and system configurations.
- Share expertise with junior team members and act as a subject matter mentor to support their growth and knowledge development.
- Perform additional responsibilities as and when required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences / IT / Engineering / Systems or a related field or relevant subject.
Experience:
- Minimum of six years of hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, and SQL.
- Proven track record in providing support for enterprise-level platforms or modules.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQLPower Platform, Java, Spring Boot, and SQL.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and troubleshooting complex issues.
- Knowledge of data investigation and incident resolution processes.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SupTech platforms or similar regulatory systems.
- Familiarity with financial and regulatory business processes.
- Development Skills:
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA.
- Expertise in development environments, including IDEs, code control, unit testing, design, and documentation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes.
