Job Title: Senior Specialist Design System Management
Job Location: Dubai
Job Purpose
Support the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the organization's design system. Work closely with UX/UI designers and developers to ensure that components, patterns, and guidelines are consistently applied across digital products, helping to maintain design coherence, efficiency, and quality.
Job Description
- Design System Support: Assist in maintaining and updating the design system, ensuring all components, patterns, and guidelines are correctly documented and applied.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration :Work closely with designers and developers to ensure components and patterns are understood and implemented consistently.
- Documentation Maintenance :Help maintain up-to-date documentation for the design system, ensuring clarity and ease of use for internal teams.
- Quality Assurance : Help ensure that all design elements align with brand guidelines and are consistently applied across products.
- Training & Support : Provide support and assistance in onboarding teams to the design system, helping to answer questions and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Feedback Gathering : Assist in gathering feedback from users and stakeholders to inform updates and improvements to the design system.
Experience And Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in UX/UI design or front-end development, with exposure to working with design systems and component libraries.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Frontify, and Token Studio.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS and exposure to component-based systems such as React or Angular.
- Basic knowledge of design systems, component libraries, and design principles.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with designers and developers.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the field of design systems.
- Multilingual knowledge, with a preference for proficiency in Arabic.
