Job Purpose
Manage Overall MWSPC Capex Project schedule and cost
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for monitoring Overall MWSPC CAPEX Projects schedule.
- The ability to review projects baseline schedules and ensure it is comprehensive, contractual and realistic.
- Evaluate the monthly projects schedule update and assess its delay impact for the projects under execution.
- Review recovery plan when applicable, evaluating/Commenting/accepting recovery plans submitted from contractors.
- Prepare projects schedule monthly detailed progress reports, trending charts and schedule analysis as required.
- Ensuring the alignment between schedule and cost data.
- Develop Project Control procedures, Project templates and forms
- Prepare the annual CAPEX Planned cashflow. Update MWSPC projects Planned, actual, and forecasted cashflow and align with all stakeholders to have a comprehensive CAPEX actual/forecast monthly report, close coordination with accounting team in this regard.
- Control the cost of overall MWSPC Projects during all project life cycle.
- Provide more detailed cost reporting weekly, or monthly updates, as required.
- Evaluate additional budget requests from internal stakeholders and propose options to secure the budget, drafting letters to secure the approval
- High level of presentation skills to present the schedule/cost analysis findings to senior management.
- Prepare projects risk registers for MWSPC Projects pertaining to schedule and spending and maintain the monthly update.
- Expert skills in critical path analysis and other scheduling concepts.
- Provide a weekly/monthly schedule/Cost highlights and alternatives to mitigate any deviations.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience And Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, engineering, or construction management or any other related field.
- Proficiency at Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency at Primavera P6
- Recent experience in project controls.
- Proven track record in project scheduling and cost management.
- Ability to think critically, challenge objectively and with confidence.
Minimum Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
