KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES
# Continuous improvement of QHSS programs and risk management to minimize risks and hazards.
# Provide training on hazards, risk control, QHSS practices, accident management and reporting procedures
when required to promote the QHSS culture within the RTA.
# Obtain proposed changes related to QHSS aspects by Liaising with SRRPD.
# Develop and update corrective and preventive action plans with proper root cause analysis.
# Develop, implement and ensure compliance with RTA QHSS strategies, plans, polices, standards, procedures
through applying international best practices.
# Conduct QHSS internal audit and inspection, and ensure compliance with RTA's QHSS. Planned audits and
recommend corrective and preventive actions.
# Ensure that all departments investigate and report accident/incident and recommend Proactive solutions to
reduce the frequency and severity of accidents based on accident data and in compliance with QHSS standards
and procedures
# Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.
# Manage regular QHSS meetings with management and stakeholders
# Prepare, maintain and analyse records that includes but not limited to; incidents and accidents, emergency
response exercise and drills.
# Develop and ensure the implementation of procedures for Crisis Management, accident/incident investigation
& reporting, costing of injuries, ill health, damage and promotion of action to preclude their recurrence.
# Manage studies, benchmarks, best practices in all QHSS related projects
# Conduct risk assessments and mitigation measures, and ensure its implementation across all RTA agencies and
sectors.
# Prepare weekly and monthly QHSS reports, statistics and presentation to top management.
# Supervise & Manage QHSS performance of Agency contractors, consultants, partners and suppliers.
# Supervise the preparation & implementation of DGEP requirements through departments
# Participate in strategic planning for TRA and monitor key performance indicators for TRA departments.
Qualifications
Education
# Bachelor degree in Health and Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Industrial Engineering from a
recognized university. Masters preferred.

# Knowledge of principles, concepts, and requirements of environmental risk assessment;
# Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple
concurrent projects.
# 8 years of professional health and safety engineering experience;
# Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.
# Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining
complex work processes.
