Senior Structural Design Engineer

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Structural Civil Engineering.

Proficiency in engineering software: ETABS, SAFE, SAP, and AutoCad.

Extensive knowledge of local design codes.

Requirements:

5-7 years of experience in structural design.

Extensive experience in the structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete and steel structures.

Ability to prepare structural design calculation tables and detailed drawings.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and develop structural designs for reinforced concrete and steel structures in accordance with applicable codes and standards.

Perform structural analysis and design using engineering software such as ETABS, SAFE, and SAP.

Calculate and review quantities for concrete and reinforcement steel to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Review and approve Shop Drawings to ensure alignment with the approved structural design and specifications.

Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, and electrical teams to ensure proper integration of structural elements.

Provide technical support to the site team and respond to engineering queries during project execution.

Conduct site visits and supervise structural works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Identify and resolve structural issues during construction and provide suitable engineering solutions.
