Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to support and manage structural engineering activities across multiple construction projects in Al Ain. The role involves leading structural shop drawings, design coordination, site support, and ensuring compliance with international codes and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage structural shop drawings and structural analysis for building and infrastructure projects
- Provide technical guidance and quality control for the structural team
- Coordinate with architects, MEP, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Review and approve structural calculations, technical specifications, and shop drawings
- Propose value engineering solutions and support risk mitigation
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (ACI, AISC, BS, Eurocode)
- Conduct site visits and inspections to resolve technical issues and ensure proper execution
- Manage deliverables, schedules, and resources to meet project deadlines
- Support tenders, proposals, and technical submissions when required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 10+ years of structural engineering experience, with at least 5 years in the GCC
- Proven experience on large-scale commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of concrete and steel structures
- Proficiency in ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, STAAD, Tekla, Revit
- Strong coordination, leadership, and communication skills
