As a Senior Engineer in Building Structures, you will lead the design and delivery of structural engineering solutions for complex building projects. You will guide projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with design codes, quality standards, and client requirements. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, provide technical leadership, and oversee implementation to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the structural design process for building projects, including analysis and preparation of detailed drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure all structural designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and local authority requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and BIM technicians.
  • Review and approve structural calculations, drawings, and contractor submissions.
  • Participate in project meetings, offering technical insights and resolving structural engineering challenges.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor structural works, ensuring adherence to design and safety standards.
  • Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and manage design changes during construction.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and authorities to secure approvals and maintain compliance.
  • Implement and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices across all structural activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and prepare progress reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in structural engineering, including leadership roles on building projects
  • Proven expertise in steel and concrete design
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE and KSA design codes and international standards
  • Strong analytical and technical skills with experience in managing complex projects

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management
  • Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD, ETABS)
