Penspen is hiring experienced Senior Supervisor – Mechanical Construction responsible for overseeing mechanical construction activities in Oil & Gas projects, ensuring safe execution, quality compliance, and timely completion of works in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise site mechanical construction activities including piping, static & rotating equipment installation, structural works, and pressure testing.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, method statements, and international codes (ASME, API, ISO, etc.).
- Monitor subcontractors and workforce productivity to achieve project milestones.
- Enforce HSE policies and ensure safe work practices at site.
- Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, planning, and commissioning teams.
- Review construction schedules and report progress to management.
- Ensure quality inspections, testing, and documentation are properly implemented.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering is mandatory
- 15+ years of relevant experience in the oil & gas sector
- 5 years in GCC region
- 5 years of experience in similar position
- Extensive experience in Oil & Gas
- Strong knowledge of piping, equipment erection, welding, and hydrotesting.
- Experience in EPC/EPCM project environments
- In-depth understanding of HSE requirements and industry codes/standards
- Proven leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
