Job responsibilities:
Participate in The implementation process and assess all newly purchased servers, softwares based on the agreed SOW (scope of work).
Prepare the communication matrix and share it with the network and security team to check servers components and everything as planned and escalate any issues.
Design, install and configure servers, and virtual machines (VMS).
Install and manage operating system (Windows server Ubuntu), and install all related MS products, to support business, infra, network applications.
Design & assign security policies to servers based on policy, Secure & protect servers from any threats.
Inspect & analyze servers hardware, software inventory, and push windows updates security batch to ensure that the server is ready to join production, and keep it updated to secure it.
Check all servers services, VMS, replication between sites, High availability, and redundancy, execute healthy and performance check.
Job requirements:
Bachelor degree
Minimum 8 Years experience in IT infrastructure.
Hands-on experience in VMware, windows server (active directory domain - service, DNS, DHCP, WDS, wsus, DHCP failover), Microsoft system center, backup & san & nas storage hyper convention.
Good knowledge of PowerShell.
