Job Description System Administrator (Linux, Windows, Backup & Security)

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator with strong expertise in Linux and Windows operating systems, enterprise backup solutions (preferably Veeam), and system security administration. The role involves managing and supporting on-premise and hybrid infrastructure environments, ensuring system availability, data protection, and security compliance.

The candidate will be responsible for administering Linux (Ubuntu/RHEL) and Windows Server environments, managing Veeam Backup & Replication, performing backup monitoring, restores, and disaster recovery testing. Responsibilities also include OS hardening, patch management, access control, endpoint security, and system performance monitoring.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), Active Directory, storage technologies, and scripting using PowerShell or Bash. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and security-focused operational skills are essential. Experience in enterprise or security-sensitive environments is preferred.
