Job Description
KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Design and implement the infrastructure for the Nol Automated Toll System.
- Regularly review the effectiveness of the infrastructure to ensure its continued compatibility with changes related to the Authority's needs.
- Design the architecture of systems, applications, and infrastructure based on requirements and integration between the access control system applications and other internal and external systems within the Authority.
- Review software requirements specifications and business cases to ensure compliance with RTA standards and specifications, and adhere to best practices based on the latest technologies and requirement.
- Maintain the infrastructure for the Nol Automated Toll System applications and manage the implementation of solutions for technical incidents and issues that may cause service disruptions and impact business continuity.
- Manage the implementation of all security controls, implement the security authorities mentioned in vulnerability reports and penetration tests, and support any security audits.
- Manage the implementation of projects or initiatives in accordance with RTA Project Management Office standards.
- Managing IT services management capabilities according to ISO 20000 standards.
- Manage risks. Security, risk review, and implementation of response and risk closure plans.
- Maintain a capacity management plan and ensure the availability of infrastructure resources to meet business and application requirements.
- Conduct capacity planning based on performance and growth forecasts to identify resources Required infrastructure, including identifying potential constraints such as storage capacity, CPU usage, and memory allocation, and estimating the resources required to meet future demands.
- Manage all management-related risks in accordance with RTA standards and take all necessary actions to ensure performance is consistently above target
- Implement a management risk register and develop a plan to address risks related to the Nol Automated Toll Collection System and its projects, providing the necessary mitigation.
- Manage the implementation of security controls and information security policy at the infrastructure level.
- Maintain all business impact assessments (BIAs) and business continuity plans (BCPs) at the management level and ensure effective procedures and appropriate plans are in place.
- Manage the backup and recovery process and submit a quarterly performance indicator report.
- Conduct periodic simulation tests to ensure effective disaster recovery systems are in place.
- Provide guidance and support for developing the customer journey and designing the Nol service model.
- Provide guidance and support for data design and solution architecture during the process of transitioning customer requirements to solution design.
- Conduct a detailed analysis of specific categories within the integration elements between application data and the Authority and identify the target architecture and existing gaps in accordance with the RTA technology strategy.
- Analyze data to resolve issues, detect fraud, and develop future improvements for decision-making.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized university, with 5 years of working experience.
