Key Responsibilities

Technical Documentation: Lead the production of full construction drawing sets, including floor plans, RCPs, elevations, and high-complexity sections.

Detailing: Develop bespoke millwork and furniture shop drawings with a focus on materiality and joinery.

Project Oversight: Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, and RFI responses to ensure alignment with design intent.

Coordination: Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to resolve technical conflicts before they reach the site.

Quality Control: Maintain firm-wide BIM/CAD standards and perform technical audits of drawings produced by junior staff.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: 3 years of professional experience in interior design or architecture (specializing in interiors).

Education: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD.

Revit is a plus

Experience with Rhino or SketchUp is a plus.

Technical Knowledge: * Profound understanding of building codes, ADA requirements, and fire safety regulations.

Extensive knowledge of interior construction methods and high-end finishes.

Leadership: Proven ability to manage technical teams and mentor junior designers.

Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating complex technical detailing and successful project delivery.
