Role Description

We are looking for a dynamic and skilledSenior Technical Analystto join our brokerage team. In this client-facing role, you will be the primary source of technical market intelligence for our institutional and retail clients. You will be responsible for interpreting price movements on theEgyptian Exchange (EGX), identifying trading opportunities, and delivering clear, actionable recommendations that help clients navigate the market and execute trades through our platform.

Key Responsibilities

Market Coverage & Idea Generation

Conduct daily technical analysis of the Egyptian stock market, covering major indices (EGX30, EGX70) and a wide range of individual stocks.

Identify same-day, short-term and medium-term trading opportunities based on chart patterns, trend analysis, support/resistance levels, and technical indicators.

Monitor regional and global markets for macro events that may impact EGX performance.

Client Advisory & Communication

Serve as the go-to technical expert for the firm's traders team and clients.

Respond to client inquiries in real-time regarding entry points, exit strategies, and stop-loss levels.

Host live market commentary sessions, webinars, or daily briefings to engage clients and encourage trading activity.

Build and maintain strong relationships with traders by providing high-conviction, time-sensitive ideas.

Content Production

Publish daily, weekly, and monthly technical reports, charts, and market outlooks distributed via email, and other social media platforms.

Create pre-market briefings and end-of-day summaries highlighting key levels and potential breakouts.

Utilize social media (LinkedIn, Telegram, Twitter) to build personal brand and attract clients to the brokerage.

Sales & Traders Support

Collaborate closely with the sales and relationship management teams to provide them with the technical ammunition they need to retain and acquire clients.

Assist in preparing technical materials for client pitches and investment committee meetings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of experienceas a Technical Analyst, Market Analyst, or Financial Trader.
• Experience working within a brokerage house is required.
• Strong understanding of theEgyptian Stock Exchange (EGX)microstructure, liquidity patterns, and listed companies
• Must hold one of the following professional certifications (or be a Level II/III candidate):

oCMT(Chartered Market Technician)

oCFTe(Certified Financial Technician)

oCETA(Certified ESTA Technical Analyst)

• Proficiency in relevant software and tools used for technical analysis
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency with charting platforms (MetaStock, Refinitiv, or Bloomberg).
• Knowledge of multiple asset classes (equities, commodities, FX) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of back-testing or algorithmic concepts is beneficial but not required

Language Proficiency

• English:Fluent (Must be able to write professional reports and communicate with clients).
• Arabic:Native or fluent.
