Senior Technical Engineer - Gas Systems

Job Description

In this position, you are responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and commissioning of LPG & SNG systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The role requires expertise in Gas system design, regulatory compliance, and on-site supervision to ensure safe, efficient, and timely project delivery from concept to completion. Detailed Job description are listed below:

Design, Engineering & Office Work

Lead the design of Gas systems including piping layouts, storage tanks, pressure regulation, and safety systems.

Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs using AutoCAD or similar software.

Ensure designs comply with local and international standards (NFPA, EN, ISO, etc.).

Coordinate with architects, consultants, and internal teams to integrate LPG systems into overall project designs.

Review and approve shop drawings and material submittal.

Prepare BOQ for the Gas RFQs as per the Projects Specs & Drawings from client

provide value engineering & techniques that can support in reducing the costs & ensuring a technical proposal that matches and covers client requirements & commercially competitive

Site-Related Activities

Conduct site visits to assess conditions and ensure design feasibility.

Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of LPG systems.

Provide technical support to site engineers and contractors.

Ensure safety protocols and quality standards are strictly followed on-site.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during construction and operation phases.

General Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering ( mechanical or similar/equivalent )

+5 years experience in similar fields

Valid Iqama

Driving license

Excellent English language skills ( reading, writing & speaking ), Arabic language is advantage
