About the Role:
Senior Technical Interior Design Engineer to lead technical documentation from schematic through tender and IFC, and support junior team members, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and coordination with other disciplines.
Role Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation of technical interior design documentation from schematic design through tender and IFC stages.
Produce and oversee coordinated technical packages including plans, elevations, sections, RCPs, schedules, and details.
Translate design concepts into accurate and constructible technical documentation while maintaining design intent.
Supervise, review, and technically support junior and Technical ID team members.
Coordinate with Architecture, MEP, Structure, and other disciplines, acting as the ID technical lead when required.
Ensure compliance with interior design standards, authority requirements, and applicable codes.
Attend coordination meetings and communicate technical decisions clearly.
Support material & FF&E selection documentation, schedules, and technical revisions.
Assist and prepare to take on Principal responsibilities by attending coordination meetings with team leaders/principals (if needed).
Report to Technical Lead ID.
Education and Professional Qualifications:
B.Sc. Degree in an Interior design discipline or relevant discipline, with a minimum grade of Good.
A minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in all phases of interior design.
Specific Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong proficiency in Revit (mandatory).
AutoCAD proficiency is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of materials, detailing, and construction documentation.
Proven experience in large-scale and mega projects.
Ability to manage multiple technical deliverables and deadlines.
Strong understanding of BIM workflows for interior design, including model-based documentation, use of templates, shared parameters, and coordination within a federated BIM environment.
Ability to guide junior team members in applying BIM standards and documentation workflows.
General Requirements:
Good command of the English language (written and spoken).

Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
Demonstrate leadership presence and professionalism.
A portfolio with technical drawings is required.
