Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Technical Office Mechanical Engineer based in Qesm El Maadi. The responsibilities include preparing and reviewing mechanical shop drawings, analyzing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and ensuring compliance with project design and requirements. The engineer will collaborate with other disciplines to align mechanical engineering work with civil and electrical systems, conduct site evaluations, and provide input for value engineering and project optimization. They will oversee the technical aspects to ensure quality and safety standards are upheld throughout project execution.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Shop Drawings and Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
• Comprehensive understanding Mechanical Engineering and Quantity Surveying
• Knowledge of Electrical Engineering and coordination across multidisciplinary teams
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• Demonstrated experience in technical office roles for large construction or engineering projects
• Familiarity with HSES practices in the energy sector is highly desirable
