Sr. Technical Project Manager
Position Summary: Own delivery of the end-to-end Disaster Recovery programme across cloud and on-prem, from mobilization to steady state.
Core responsibilities
- Establish programme governance: charter, plan, RAID, change control, reporting, benefits tracking.
- Drive scope, schedule, budget, risk, and vendor performance across all workstreams.
- Coordinate DR build (landing zones, connectivity, platform enablement), testing, and cutovers.
- Align with security, legal, and audit for policy, data residency, and compliance.
- Lead executive communications, SteerCo, and stakeholder management.
- Plan and oversee DR exercises; manage handover to operations with full runbooks and SLAs.
Required experience
- 1015+ years in infra/cloud programmes; 5+ years delivering regulated or government projects.
- Proven management of multi-vendor contracts, RFPs/SoWs, acceptance criteria, and SLAs.
- Strong financial control (forecasting, EVM, change budgets).
Skills
- Programme/portfolio management, vendor/stakeholder negotiation, risk & issue leadership.
- Clear, executive-level communication and reporting; decision-making under ambiguity.
Certifications
- Required: PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner; ITIL v4 Foundation.
- Preferred: Agile (Scrum/SAFe), security/governance certifications.

- Programme plan & IMR, budget tracker, risk register, status & SteerCo packs, test strategy, acceptance & handover pack.
KPIs
- Milestones on time (95%), budget variance (5%), audit findings (zero critical), DR test success rate (98%), stakeholder CSAT (4/5).
Reporting:
- Reports to: IT and Deputy of IT department
- Works with: Cross-functional project teams, IT departments, vendors, and business stakeholders
