Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer (Arabic-speaking) to play a key role in the QA Governance program for the Life & Social Insurance Line of Business.
The role will be responsible for ensuring quality, compliance, and end-to-end validation of Social Insurance systems while coordinating with multiple stakeholders across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in functional testing within the insurance domain, with deep understanding of social insurance processes, regulatory requirements, and QA governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse business requirements, BRDs, regulatory documentation, and user stories related to Social Insurance schemes.
- Ensure complete traceability between requirements, regulatory mandates, and test artifacts.
- Understand end-to-end Social Insurance workflows, including:
- Employer registration
- Contribution calculation
- Benefits eligibility
- Claims processing
- Payment disbursement
- Design and review test strategies, test cases, test conditions, and test data aligned with QA Governance standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and audit requirements related to Social Insurance programs.
- Execute and oversee functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT support.
- Lead defect triage discussions and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Monitor and report QA governance metrics, including defect leakage, coverage, cycle time, and compliance adherence.
- Support test planning, estimation, and governance reporting alongside Test Leads.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement within the QA Governance framework.
Required Skills
- Arabic speaking capability for onsite governance coordination.
- 6+ years of functional testing experience, preferably in Life Insurance or Social Insurance domain.
- Strong understanding of contribution-based insurance models.
- Knowledge of benefits lifecycle, claims adjudication, and insurance workflows.
- Experience working with QA governance frameworks and compliance processes.
- Strong expertise in requirement traceability and audit compliance.
- Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as:
- JIRA
- ALM
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
