Job Description
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
Senior Traffic Planner / Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to lead traffic impact assessments for one of Riyadhs Mega-Projects.
What You'll Be Doing
- Recommend road link capacity, sections, and geometry based on traffic analysis for traffic detours
- Design road link and junctions
- Review and Update existing Traffic Impact Assessments
- Prepares traffic models, traffic simulations, and calibrations
- Conducts Traffic Analysis
- Interprets and analyze Vissim modeling results and travel surveys from contractors/ suppliers and Automatic Traffic Counts (ATC suppliers)
- Manage input and output from the Clients appointed traffic consultant
- Reporting directly to the clients SVP for Logistics
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Expert in the operation of Vissim software
- Experience in presentation of traffic models, detours, analyses to local authorities and traffic police
- Able to manage several ongoing tasks at different stages of development
- Able to manage external consultants deadlines and quality of deliverables
- Able to understand programme constraints and requirements
