At Argaam, we're looking for a skilled Translator with a strong command of Arabic and English, and a solid understanding of economic and financial content. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, quality-driven, and able to translate meaningnot just words.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate economic, financial, and investment-related content accurately
- Review and edit translations completed by junior team members.
- Maintain Argaam's editorial tone, style, and linguistic quality
- Review and proofread translations before publication
- Collaborate closely with content and editorial teams
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Native or near-native proficiency in Arabic and English
- Minimum 7+ years of professional translation experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or related field.
- Strong interest or background in economics, finance, or investment
- Excellent linguistic accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to simplify complex terminology clearly
- Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Prior experience in media or financial translation is a plus
