Job Overview
The Senior Web Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality web solutions. The role involves working on WordPress and Laravel platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and translating client requirements into fully functional web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance WordPress WooCommerce systems.
- Design and implement new features and functionality on WordPress sites.
- Establish and guide website architecture to ensure scalability and efficiency.
- Ensure high performance, availability, and security of all CMS-based applications.
- Transform responsive designs into working themes and plugins.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code for web projects.
- Test, debug, and deploy web applications and systems.
- Improve existing websites by applying bug fixes and performance enhancements.
- Collaborate with other developers, designers, and teams to deliver innovative solutions.
- Design and implement new web applications using the Laravel framework.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 35 years of hands-on experience designing, building, documenting, and delivering scalable web solutions.
- Proven experience with WordPress (Elementor, WooCommerce), Next.js, React, and Laravel frameworks.
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and web applications.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and working with JSON or XML data.
- Passion for technology, creativity, and innovation.
- Strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and team collaboration.
- Sharp problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Clear professional communication in English.
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Comfortable with browser debugging tools (e.g., Firebug, Chrome Inspector).
- Ability to maintain visual consistency across platforms and browsers.
- Ability to convert wireframes and design layouts into functional HTML pages.
- Experience with version control systems such as GIT.
- Strong understanding of web development best practices, performance optimization, and security considerations.
