Service Advisor Truck Division - Dubai

Galadari Trucks & Heavy Equipment (GTHE) is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our Dubai Truck Division.

This role is critical in acting as the link between customers and the workshop, ensuring a smooth service experience while maintaining high levels of efficiency, communication and revenue generation within the aftersales department.

About the position

The Service Advisor will manage customer service bookings, prepare job cards, coordinate with workshop teams and ensure repairs and maintenance are completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical understanding of heavy commercial vehicles and excellent customer handling skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and accurately assess service and repair requirements
• Open job cards with detailed fault descriptions and required work scope
• Provide cost estimates and obtain customer approvals
• Coordinate with workshop supervisors and technicians to ensure timely completion of jobs
• Monitor work progress and keep customers updated on job status
• Upsell additional repairs, parts, and preventive maintenance where appropriate
• Ensure accurate invoicing and documentation
• Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve complaints efficiently
• Maintain strong relationships with fleet clients and individual customers

Essentials

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Service Advisor in a truck or heavy commercial vehicle environment
• Strong technical understanding of heavy-duty trucks and diesel engines
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle fleet accounts and high-volume workshop operations
• Familiarity with job card systems and basic workshop KPIs (productivity, efficiency, revenue targets)
• Computer literate with experience using workshop management systems
