Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving sheet metal components and assemblies, ensuring high-quality production and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in sheet metal design and fabrication
- Strong knowledge of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor)
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, materials, and tolerances
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications
- Collaborate with production and fabrication teams to ensure manufacturability
- Optimize designs for cost, efficiency, and quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements
