Shift Supervisor

Job Summary:**

The Shift Supervisor at CROWN Arabia Can Company Ltd is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of a designated production shift, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality standards are consistently met.

Job Responsibilities:**

  • Lead and supervise a team of production operators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Monitor production processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain optimal efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure all safety procedures and company policies are strictly adhered to, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Manage production schedules, material flow, and equipment utilization to meet production targets and customer demands.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet CROWN Arabia's high-quality standards.
  • Complete accurate production reports, documenting output, scrap rates, and any operational incidents.
  • Collaborate with other supervisors and departments to ensure smooth transitions between shifts and effective communication.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for process optimization and waste reduction.
  • Handle minor maintenance tasks and coordinate with maintenance staff for larger repairs.

Job Qualifications:**

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced production setting.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by shift schedules.
