We are looking for a Site Architect to join our construction supervision team located in Abu Dhabi , UAE .
- Must have UAE Engineering Consultancy experience within UAE (post-contract supervision)
Job Description
- Following up Site construction according to Contract drawings & Technical Specifications.
- Checking and commenting Contractors Shop drawings and answering Contractors RFIs.
- Study and analyses various finishing material submittals & sample materials.
- Resolving site coordination problems between Architectural, Structural & MEP disciplines.
- Revising Design Drawings and Architectural Details.
- Representing the site team in meetings with the Client for progress and technical details.
- Supervising site works including issuing site instructions and NCRs.
- Reviewing Material submittals, method statement & specifications.
- Site inspections for finishing work regarding specifications.
- Reporting to the Resident Engineer on a regular basis regarding progress, design, quality & site issues.
- Responsible for the checking of proposed design drawings and other related Detailed Drawing accuracy prior to release of these drawings for construction implementation.
- Responsible for monitoring quality of executed works in the construction site.
- Ensure the coordination with the project stake holders from the conception of the project, development stage and realization of the final product.
- Control and develop a Comprehensive Reporting System and liaise with the Client.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree Architecture, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Must have Engineering consultancy experience
- Candidates must have sound knowledge about the site procedures
- Strong understanding of local building codes and regulations, with a focus on compliance and safety standards.
