Oversee and coordinate the execution of civil engineering works on construction sites, including earthworks, drainage, utilities, and site infrastructure.
Interpret and implement civil engineering design drawings and specifications.
Conduct site surveys, measurements, and inspections to ensure compliance with design requirements.
Prepare and review submittals, RFIs, and change orders related to civil engineering aspects of the project.
Monitor and control the quality of civil engineering work performed by contractors and subcontractors.
Liaise with project stakeholders, including the design team, contractors, and local authorities, to address technical issues and resolve conflicts.
Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress, and test results.
Prepare and submit site reports, daily logs, and other project documentation.
Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team.
Ensure compliance with relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a site civil engineering role, preferably in the construction or infrastructure industry.
Proficient in the interpretation and implementation of civil engineering design drawings and specifications.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering construction methods, materials, and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.
Familiarity with relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic construction environment.
Willingness to work on-site and collaborate with the construction team.
