We are seeking a Site Energy Engineer to support the planning, implementation, and optimization of energy management initiatives across multiple data centers within the portfolio. Reporting to the Energy Manager, this role is responsible for monitoring energy consumption, conducting energy audits, driving efficiency improvement projects, and ensuring compliance with sustainability standards.
The role combines hands-on technical expertise with data analysis and cross-functional collaboration to support the achievement of key sustainability metrics, including Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE), Water Usage Effectiveness (WUE), and Carbon Usage Effectiveness (CUE) targets.
Key Accountabilities:
- Monitor real-time and historical energy, cooling, and water usage via BMS/CAFM systems.
- Analyse performance and consumption patterns to identify inefficiencies and propose corrective measures.
- Generate and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs for power, water, and scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions performance.
- Conduct site-level energy audits and lifecycle assessments to evaluate asset health and improvement potential.
- Support ISO 50001, LEED, and ASHRAE compliance by preparing documentation and responding to audit findings.
- Maintain accurate records of energy metrics, incident logs, and regulatory filings.
- Assist in the design and rollout of energy-saving retrofits (advanced cooling, renewable integration, AI analytics).
- Coordinate small-scale capital and operational projects: scoping, vendor engagement, scheduling, and handover.
- Validate project outcomes through post-implementation performance testing and ROI analysis.
- Collaborate with site operations, facilities, and IT teams to integrate energy-management requirements into daily workflows.
- Provide operational feedback to Design & Construction for new builds and retrofits, ensuring efficient system selection.
- Troubleshoot BMS/CAFM data interfaces, ensuring seamless flow and data integrity across enterprise applications.
- Propose process enhancements and automation opportunities to reduce manual data collection and accelerate decision-making.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops to raise energy-conservation awareness among site staff.
- Engage with external partners and industry bodies to stay informed on emerging best practices and technologies.
- The role will be part of a dynamic team within the CCC department, focusing on developing and implementing digital solutions to optimize operational efficiency and reliability of our assets.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Energy Engineering, or related discipline.
- 3+ years of practical experience in data center, industrial, or commercial energy management.
- Familiarity with BMS/CAFM platforms, data-analytics tools, and energy modelling software.
- Working knowledge of ISO 50001, LEED, ASHRAE guidelines, and local energy regulations.
- Proven track record of supporting energy-efficiency projects and delivering measurable performance gains.
Training/Certifications Preferred:
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
- ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems
- Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP)
- LEED Green Associate
