Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Site Engineer to join our real estate development team in the UAE. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in structural works and MEP coordination, with a proven track record of working on residential and mixed-use real estate projects in the UAE market.
This role requires close coordination with consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure quality execution, timely delivery, and compliance with UAE regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor site execution of structural and MEP works in accordance with approved drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors for smooth site operations
- Review and ensure compliance of structural and MEP shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals
- Ensure all works comply with UAE authorities standards (DM, DCD, DEWA, ADDC, etc.)
- Monitor project progress, quality standards, and safety regulations on-site
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare daily/weekly progress reports
- Identify site issues and provide technical solutions to avoid delays or cost overruns
- Coordinate inspections with authorities and consultants
- Ensure HSE compliance and best construction practices at all times
- Support handover, snagging, and project close-out activities
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Site Engineer with a Real Estate Developer or Main Contractor in the UAE
- Strong experience in Structural works and MEP coordination
- Hands-on experience with off-plan residential or mixed-use developments
- In-depth knowledge of UAE construction standards, codes, and authority approvals
- Ability to read and interpret structural and MEP drawings
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple site activities under tight timelines
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage):
- Experience working directly with developers (not only contractors)
- Knowledge of QA/QC procedures
- Experience in handover and defect liability period (DLP)
- Immediate joiners preferred
