About the Role:

Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising and coordinating site activities related to marble works, fit-out works, and construction projects. The role involves ensuring that works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, project schedules, and safety requirements.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in marble installation, fit-out, interior works, and site execution. Experience in building contracting and general construction will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor daily site activities for marble, fit-out, and construction works.
Coordinate with project managers, consultants, sub and main contractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Review and interpret architectural, structural, shop, and detailed drawings.
Ensure marble and fit-out works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Coordinate marble fabrication, delivery, installation, finishing, polishing, and snagging activities.
Monitor site measurements, levels, alignments, dimensions, and installation details.
Conduct regular site inspections and identify technical or execution issues.
Ensure materials delivered to site comply with approved samples, specifications, and quality standards.
Coordinate with the procurement and production teams regarding material requirements and delivery schedules.
Monitor manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractor activities at site.
Prepare and maintain daily site reports, progress updates, measurements, and site records.
Coordinate with consultants and clients for inspections, approvals, and technical clarifications.
Assist in preparing and closing inspection requests, material approvals, and site-related documentation.
Monitor project progress against the approved schedule and highlight delays or site constraints.
Coordinate with other trades including civil, MEP, carpentry, gypsum, flooring, painting, and joinery to avoid work conflicts.
Ensure proper protection of completed marble and fit-out works during construction.
Identify and resolve site technical issues in coordination with the Project Manager and relevant teams.
Supervise snagging, rectification, and final handover activities.
Ensure all works comply with company quality standards and applicable health and safety requirements.
Maintain good housekeeping and ensure safe working practices at the project site.

Marble & Fit-Out Responsibilities

Supervise installation of marble, granite, porcelain, stone cladding, flooring, countertops, stairs, walls, and other stone-related works.
Check marble layouts, patterns, joints, thickness, levels, alignment, and finishing.
Coordinate with marble workshop/factory teams regarding fabrication drawings and site requirements.
Verify site dimensions before fabrication and installation.
Monitor cutting, fixing, adhesive application, grouting, polishing, sealing, and finishing works.
Coordinate mock-ups and sample approvals with consultants and clients.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and protection of marble and other finishing materials.

Education, Experience and Skills:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant site engineering experience, preferably in marble, stone, fit-out, interior works, or construction.
Experience in a marble or fit-out company is highly preferred.
Experience in building contracting/construction projects will be an advantage.
Strong knowledge of site execution, construction methods, drawings, and finishing works.
Practical knowledge of marble/stone installation and fit-out activities.
Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, shop, and construction drawings.
Good knowledge of site measurements and quantity verification.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred.
Knowledge of MS Office and project documentation.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project deadlines.
Ability to work under pressure and resolve site-related issues effectively.
Must be UAE Driving License Holder
