The Site Performance Engineer is part of the Global Technical Operations Team and is based locally on site. The role ensures that planned maintenance activities are coordinated in line with the agreed maintenance schedule, while also supporting the scheduling of corrective maintenance, raising change requests, and delivering a suite of KPIs. The Site Performance Engineer also acts as the local Subject Matter Expert for the CMMS and other systems used to manage maintenance.
Reporting to the Senior Planner, the Site Performance Engineer's duties include supporting the Global Operations team, rolling out new initiatives, supplying reports and KPIs to the wider business, and providing cover and support for colleagues during periods of absence.
Core Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Work closely with the Senior Planner, Team Leaders, and technicians to manage work priorities, develop work orders and define required parts, materials, trades, and skills for maintenance activities.
- Supports implementation and scheduling of preventive maintenance activities.
- Support incidents and problem investigations, ensuring actions are translated into controlled Work Orders.
- Supports the development, administration, training, and use of the CMMS at local site level.
- Supports the Global Technical Operations team and local engineering teams to achieve agreed internal and external targets.
- Deliver weekly and monthly reports and KPIs to relevant departments, ensuring full compliance with agreed targets.
- Provide governance for project works and asset replacements, aligned with maintenance plans.
- Govern OP, RAMS and maintenance controls to ensure safe, compliant execution
- Schedule and monitor statutory maintenance to ensure the company compliant
- Ensures maintenance activities are planned and coordinated to ensure 100% uptime and zero customer impact.
- Maintain audit readiness, supporting internal and external audits at all times
- Plan and manage the flow of all site maintenance work orders by working with DC Engineering team and vendors.
- Ensure all design, asset, software, and firmware changes follow formal change control and MCI requirements
- Responsible for the planning and scheduling of manpower and parts needed to perform maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with the Senior Planner in the development of maintenance schedules and resource levelling by utilising the CMMS system.
- Maintain site CMMS asset files, equipment and schedules.
- Drive data-led decision making, using asset, maintenance, and reliability analytics.
- Works collaboratively with other global site-based Site Performance Engineers and offer support as and when directed by the Senior Planner.
- Supports development of CMMS and BMS systems across PDCG sites to optimise maintenance performance.
- Uses local site experience to recommend and implement improvements to the preventative maintenance programme.
- Review planning failures and produce incident reports and corrective action plans as required.
- Act as the local subject expert matters (SME) of the CMMS and other maintenance planning systems.
- Capture post-maintenance and post-change learnings, feeding back into the global maintenance standards
- Supports the Engineering Operations managers, Training manager and other key stakeholders in ensuring process workflows are followed by the local site team
- Coordinate with Senior planner with regards any CMMS software updates to ensure they are managed and implemented without impacting operations.

- Experienced in maintenance planning within a critical environment.
- Strong CMMS knowledge and experience (essential).

Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 3 years experience of CMMS systems.
- Proven experience in planning and scheduling in a facilities management or similar environment
- Experience working both independently and within a team
