Site Reliability Engineer

S2 Global is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support and maintain deployments of the CertScan platform. This role involves designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available network infrastructures aligned with business goals and SLAs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN and wireless networks with redundancy and recovery protocols.
• Monitor and optimize network and system performance; troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
• Automate infrastructure tasks and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and assets using CMDB.
• Collaborate with development and customer IT teams to ensure compliance and system reliability.
• Conduct audits, manage upgrades, and oversee vendor interactions.

Required Experience:

• Networking and security (VPNs, routing, switching).
• Enterprise network design and firewall technologies.
• MPLS or VPLS design.

Technical Skills:

• Tools: SolarWinds, Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Datadog.
• Platforms: Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, VMware, Hyper-V.
• Systems: Windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory, NetApp, EMC, HP Storage, MinIO.
• Cloud: AWS (preferred), Azure, GCP.
• Scripting: Python, Go, Java.
• OS: Linux/Unix.

Preferred Certifications:

• ITIL Foundations v3, CCNA/CCNP/CCDP/CCDA, Cisco or Fortinet certifications.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.
• High attention to detail and customer service orientation.

Other Requirements:

• On-call availability and up to 100% travel.
• Valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., PCI, SOX).
