Job Summary
The Site Technical Manager Architecture will oversee architectural site execution, technical coordination, and quality compliance for construction projects. The role involves ensuring that architectural works are implemented according to design specifications, project schedules, and regulatory standards, while coordinating with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise architectural works at the construction site ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals before site implementation.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, structural, MEP, and project management teams to resolve technical issues.
Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
Monitor quality control and site inspections to ensure architectural finishes and materials meet project specifications.
Provide technical guidance to site engineers and contractors regarding architectural design details and construction methods.
Identify and resolve design discrepancies, site clashes, and technical challenges.
Review method statements, RFIs, and technical submissions related to architectural works.
Support project management in schedule planning and progress monitoring.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations at the construction site.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (mandatory)
Master's Degree in Architecture or Construction Management (preferred)
Experience Requirements
Minimum 10 years of architectural experience
At least 5 years in site-based architectural management roles
Experience in high-rise buildings, commercial projects, hospitality, or large-scale developments preferred
Strong knowledge of construction drawings, materials, and finishing standards
Technical Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM coordination
Strong understanding of architectural detailing and construction methodologies
Knowledge of UAE building regulations and authority approvals
Ability to manage technical coordination across multiple disciplines
Required Certifications (Preferred in UAE)
PMP (Project Management Professional) highly preferred for managerial roles
LEED Green Associate / LEED AP for sustainable building projects
Dubai Municipality / Trakhees / DDA approvals knowledge
IOSH or NEBOSH certification health & safety awareness
RIBA Membership or equivalent professional architecture accreditation (advantage)
